Bluewater Falls – Mexico Bluewater Falls Travel Guide

Blue-water Falls (Agua Azul) is located in the state of Chiapas, 69 kilometers from the Palenque Archaeological Site, and is the purest blue waterfall in the world. Most waterfalls we see are usually white, but this one is indeed peculiar, being pure blue, crystal clear. At the entrance of the waterfall, there is a section of water cordoned off for visitors to swim in, with the river water cool, refreshing, and transparent to the bottom.

It is said that the water in Blue-water Falls is as smooth, delicate, and soft as velvet. Swimming in such velvety smooth water must be a supreme pleasure! The waterfall is composed of constantly rushing water flows, some reaching up to 6 meters in height. The water in the waterfall is rich in minerals, and visitors here usually enjoy swimming naked, letting their bodies fully experience the beauty of nature, almost wanting to absorb all the minerals in the water. Looking at the blue waterfall, one’s mood will also become especially good, making it a great place to relax and relieve stress.
