The Cave of the Crystals is located in the Naica Mine in Chihuahua, Mexico. It was first discovered in 2000 when two miners were digging a tunnel 300 meters underground and unexpectedly came across it due to the mining company pumping water. The Cave of the Crystals is the largest underground crystal cave in the world, about 27 meters long, 9 meters wide, and reaching 1000 feet deep, stretching for about 0.5 miles underground.

Despite crystals giving a cold impression, the cave is actually hot and humid, with a temperature of around 58°C all year round and humidity at 100%. Visitors need to wear protective suits with advanced cooling systems to enter the cave. Inside the cave, there are many huge crystals extending in all directions, some of which are the largest crystals ever found, located on ancient faults. The water in the cave is almost fifty thousand years old, providing an ideal environment for the formation of giant crystals.

The walls are very humid, covered with clusters of flawless crystals, sharp as blades. The cave features over 170 giant and luminous gypsum crystal towers, like intertwined columns of light, scattered around the cave, with the largest one measured around 11.4 meters long. The Cave of the Crystals is truly unique in the world, showcasing its beauty in a distinctive manner.
